Feedburner also has one of the largest feed and blog advertising network that brings together an unprecedented caliber of content aggregated from the world’s most recognized media companies, A-list bloggers and blog networks and individual publishers from around the world.
FeedBurner is the leading provider of media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. If you long for creative ways to attract an audience, see where your content goes once you publish it and generally add a lot more value to your feed, then “feedburning” is for you.
Here, we will walk through the process on creating a feedburner feed for your blog and get you started…
First you will need to have a Google account (any gmail account will work). Visit the feedburner service page to begin this process.
- In the first step, you will type the link to your Blog Feed.
Type your blog name in the “Burn a Feed”
- The next step is to Identify Feed Source
If your Blog provides both RSS 2.0 and Atom 0.3 feeds, then you can select one of the options here. You might see choices such as
http://www.crunchynow.com/feed or http://www.crunchynow.com/feed/atom
My suggestion, choose the RSS 2.0 feed which could be yoursite.com/feed
- Give your feed its title and feedburner.com address
On “Welcome”, make sure the title and FeedBurner address (URI) of your new feed are values you prefer.
For Example: Our listing is like this
FEED TITLE : Crunchynow
FEED ADDRESS : http://feeds.feedburner.com/crunchynow
- Once you have supplied all the required information on this page, click Activate Feed. A congrats page should now appear.
Congratulations, you are done setting up a feedburner feed for your Blog. On the “Congrats” page, click Next to go to your Feedburner Dashboard.
